Barcelona, month summary.

We released this month a new cumulative update for GIMM 4.0, CU164, including these new features:

▶️UC1523 – New interface added to GIMM with Oracle ERP. This interface is intended for declaring the containers created in a GIMM PROCS packing workstations using a webservice.
▶️UC1522 – In the WebPicking application, it has been added a new selection view to select the last list pending to be validated regardless of the list code (useful for operators who need to work with more than one list code).
▶️UC1399 – Improvement for the master data interface allowing the configuration of additional integration rules.

LINCS EMEA-UNITED KINGDOM-Fradley
A new spare parts flow will be implemented in GIMM LINCS to supply individual commodities to the OEM for aftermarket service.

LINCS EMEA-SPAIN-Martorell
The customer has requested two changes: the addition of sequencing data in the EDI inventory file, which the ERP/WMS must integrate, and an update to the scanning workflow used in the rack validation process.

LINCS EMEA-SPAIN-Castellbisbal
A new vehicle to be added into the JIS flow managed by this customer. This vehicle is assembled in a new assembly line, so will be delivered in new containers.

LINCS EMEA-MOROCCO-Kenitra
A project to modify the existing JIS flow by implementing a modular data structure for delivered commodities, aligning with the OEM’s transition to a modular process.

LINCS EMEA-SPAIN-Martorell
Implementation of an API REST interface between GIMM LINCS and a pick to light system to manage the correct collection of material to be transferred to the assembly line.

PROCS ASIA-CHINA-Wuhan
A new production line to be configured in this GIMM PROCS instance composed by 10 workstations: three of them are new, and seven are resued from other lines.

PROCS EMEA-ITALY-Terni
Three change requests have been received from this customer. The first involves configuring a new assembly line with three workstations. The second requires duplicating a packing workstation. The third entails setting up an interface to integrate traceability from another GIMM PROCS plant, as semi-finished parts will be completed at this site.

PROCS EMEA-PORTUGAL-Braganza
Three self-implementations to be executed by the customer in this GIMM PROCS installation to configure additional workstations for already existing lines. The number of new workstations to be added is 5, 4 and 4 in three different production lines respectively.

PROCS EMEA-CZECH REPUBLIC-Mlada Boleslav
Implementation of a new production line to be controlled by GIMM PROCS composed by 7 workstations: 4 of them are new ones, and 3 of them are re-used from other production line (will be shared as they execute the same operation).

LINCS AMERICA-MEXICO-Monterrey
New out of sequence JIS flow to be configured in this GIMM LINCS in order to supply, in a manual mode, special parts to the OEM in specific handling units.

rvsEVO & LINCS EMEA-SPAIN-Sant Andreu de la Barca
Two changes to be implemented for this customer. The first, concerning a migration from rvsXP to rvsEVO (to make use of the extended security offered by OFTP2 protocol, only supported by rvsEVO); and a second modification in the JIS labels barcodes and in the scanning workflow on the rack validation stations.

LINCS EMEA-SOUTH AFRICA-Durban & Uitenhague
Two Just In Sequence projects with GIMM LINCS to be implemented for the same customer at two different locations in South Africa, supplying Toyota and VW. This marks the first time in GIMM that we are using LINCS to manage a JIS flow for Toyota.

The new releases of January include two new cumulative updates for GIMM 4.0, CU162 and CU163.They include:

New Functionalities in CU162:
▶️UC1520 – Extension of the GIMM PROCS workstation functionalities in charge of collecting the production orders coming from the Production Scheduler. With this enhancement, additional data from the production orders can be used during the productive cycle, like informing other sub-systems (i.e. machinery).

New Functionalities in CU163:
▶️UC1492 – The GIMM PROCS existing interface to upload data to SAP MII module (with a REST API), is enhanced with the possibility to upload rack data in case of a packing workstations (rack identifier and rack status).

LINCS EMEA-SPAIN-Martorell
Change the DOT notification order to the OEM. The DOT is a certification emitted by the Department of Transportation from USA, which validates that the commodities comply with safety and performance requirements for use in the U.S.

LINCS ASIA-CHINA-Shenyang
Change request to modify the JIS label behaviour in order print or not the CCC logo (China Compulsory Certificate, a compulsory safety mark for products imported, sold or used in the Chinese market) depending on the commodity to deliver.

LINCS EMEA-UNITED KINGDOM-Fradley
Two changes requested by this customer for its Just-In-Sequence flow managed by GIMM LINCS. The first change consists of modifying the JIS labels to use a new function to highlight text on the labels. The second to modify the printing sequence order for one CKD flow.

PROCS EMEA-CZECH REPUBLIC-Mlada Boleslav
Two projects will be executed for this plant, which uses GIMM PROCS to manage its assembly lines. The first project involves configuring a new assembly line consisting of seven workstations—four newly installed and three repurposed from another line (to be shared). The second project focuses on adding a duplicate of an existing workstation to mitigate a bottleneck.

rvsEVO EMEA-SPAIN-Vitoria
New rvsEVO installation for a new customer, which should start receiving the OEM JIS EDI messages.

PROCS EMEA-FRANCE-Messei
Implementation of three additional workstations on one of the assembly lines managed by GIMM PROCS. Additionally, the interface responsible for uploading production to another GIMM PROCS at a different site must be configured, allowing parts to be completed at that location.

PROCS EMEA-SLOVAKIA-Trnava
Configuration of the interface for declaring the production to the ERP, part by part in this GIMM PROCS installation.

LINCS EMEA-SLOVAKIA-Lozorno
Project to modify GIMM LINCS system for this customer, due to the OEM is about to introduce changes in one of the EDI files used for the Just-In-Sequence process.

LINCS EMEA-SPAIN-Vitoria
Adaptations to be applied in GIMM LINCS Just-In-Sequence flow, since the OEM is changing the system for generation the JIS EDI files, and therefore the files will have a new format (following VDA Verband der Automobilindustrie standard).

PROCS EMEA-SPAIN-Orkoien
Implementation of a new production line in an existing GIMM PROCS. 7 additional workstations will be configured, in a self-implementation business model.

PROCS AMERICA-USA-Columbus
New production line composed by 4 workstations intended to produce parts which must fulfil the new regulation EPA27 introduced by the Environmental Protection Agency of USA.
